TRAINING

The AEMC encourages marshals to attend regular training sessions where the necessary skills are taught in accordance with a modular course devised by the Motor Sports Association.

To assist marshals keep an orderly record of their training and experience we run a training and grading scheme to an MSA approved pattern. It is envisaged that the MSA will, within the next few years, make licensing of all marshals a requirement whereas at present it is entirely voluntary.

Anyone wishing to join the AEMC Training and Grading Scheme should first of all approach their club's Chief Marshal or Competitions Secretary who should have the necessary application forms. However, if your club is not participating directly in the scheme you can still join and enjoy the benefit of being an Graded Marshal by writing to the AEMC Training Officer.
